Howdy! I'm Derek Wu, a 6-th year math PhD student at Texas A&M University. I am on the job market this academic year 2025-2026.

Fall 2025, I am at the Simons Insititute in Berkeley, CA for the semester-long program Complexity and Linear Algebra. 

My research interests are in algebraic combinatorics and complexity theory. I am co-advised by JM Landsberg and Catherine Yan .

I received my B.S. Mathematics from Georgia Tech, May 2020.
